APS6 Lead Deployment Coordinator (Frontline Learning)
- Pay Rate: $60.26 per hour + Super
- Location: Adelaide SA
- Work Environment: Hybrid working
- Tenure: until end of December 2026 (with potential for extension)

The Opportunity
This role is with the Australia's largest Federal Government organisation in Disability Sector. The APS6 leadership role, within the Frontline Learning team, focuses on the effective training and support of the workforce. As the Lead Deployment Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning, resource management, and critical decision-making necessary to deploy learning initiatives. Operating under limited direction, you will resolve complex risks and ensure the high quality of output for your work area.
Key Responsibilities and Impact
- Learning System Management: Utilize the LEAP Learning Management System to create, test, and deploy learning modules.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact (via Outlook and MS Teams) for stakeholders, managing expectations, addressing enquiries via Jira Service Desk, and providing high-quality responses.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team, setting clear priorities and fostering cohesion to achieve timely project outcomes.
- Reporting & Data Analysis: Generate and distribute essential reports on training completion rates across the Agency.
- Operational Support: Manage the enrollment of staff in both eLearnings and facilitated training sessions, contributing to the wider operational success of the Frontline Learning team.
What You'll Bring
- Advanced Coordination: Exceptional ability to manage complex schedules, prioritize competing tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Technical Proficiency: High level of competence in the Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrated experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Problem-Solving & Judgement: Capacity for critical thinking to resolve issues as they arise and make sound, informed decisions under pressure.
- Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal and written skills for effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
- Confidentiality: A strong commitment to discretion, ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of sensitive staff information.
Qualifications & Desirable Experience
- Formal qualifications in Business Administration, Project Management, or Learning & Development (or equivalent practical experience) are highly regarded.
- Highly Desirable: Previous, specific experience with LEAP (or a similar LMS) and the Jira Service Desk is a significant advantage.
